Piping Design:This ten hour online course includes subject matter contained in Modules II, III, and IV, and is delivered in three Sessions. The Sessions are further divided into multiple Parts allowing for convient stopping points throughout the seven hour run time of the three videos. It provides the basis in understanding of industry requirements for Code compliance, material standards (ASTM), manufacturing standards (ASTM, ASME, MSS), and government regulations. It provides a brief history of where industry Standards come from, how they are developed, what their relationship is with the Code of Federal Regulations, and how they affect the specifications and design requirements of a project or an installed system. The student will learn what specifications and guidelines are required for a project, what information is required in those documents, and how to develop them. All in all this course covers everything you could learn in a 2-3 day classroom setting.
